New league, live update & expanded roster...

I started up a league using the Seattle Mariners and the live update feature. Everything started on the correct day and all the stats and standings were there. I signed a few coaches then went to check the roster and the active roster was 40. In May.

Did I do something wrong?! I selected all possible leagues when creating the league. Not sure if that has anything to do with anything.

Edit: Active roster does say 25, expanded roster at 40 and rosters set to expand on Sept 1st, 2019. I am using the latest patch.

This exact thing happened to me after the latest patch using Live Start. I posted about it in the bug forum. You should add to that.

I always set up a global template when I start, and it always worked up to the latest patch.

I think I ended up just doing a completely new template and saving it again before starting over, which worked, but that was the only way I could get around it.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Live Start. I unchecked the box for injuries and new teams -- I just wanted stats/standings/ratings updated, that's it.

Yeah, as I replied over there, there's a bug where if you have multiple/all the leagues selected, basically if any of them pass their "roster expansion" dates, then MLB got its rosters expanded instead. In the default game it's the HH that causes issues - with templates might be another league that does that.
