yes I saw them thanks. Someone I know got 2 of them in 25 packs yesterday. One of those is his. in my last 1000 packs, i have gotten ZERO unsung hero iron. lot more activity in that area of the AH and most of these cards are now going for 400-500 minimum. I think it will go higher once collections start. |

Was just going to post there is one for 8999 which I hate to say is a "good deal" based on the sales I have seen for this card the past week. One went for 15K the other night.

I have some Iron Unsung Heroes kicking around if anyone is interested in them. Could have a private sale if the price is right?

I have ripped 1000+ packs in the last 10 days
Zero Unsung Hero Iron from those 6000 cards. A friend got 2 Craig Lefferts in 25 packs earlier in week. I bought one of them for 7 and other sold at auction for 8. That was the last card I needed for all of the Unsung Iron. If these cards turn out to be important in collections they will be very valuable because they are so rare. I have stopped putting any up for auction until collections are announced in a few weeks, |

I am still 2 or 3 short of the 272.
Not even sure who they are at this point When I see them in white in the AH I'll know who they are. Sales have really slowed as of late and I'm down to my last 10K of PP after my lucky Bill Dahlen pull and sell... I was nearly able to complete the collection with that lucky draw. They are super-rare so I don't want to make the mistake of pricing them too cheap. I am interested in getting the prices reported in this thread. |

Just watch in a few weeks when collections are released and the iron unsung heroes do indeed comprise one of the collections, but the prize you can redeem them for is a low gold player worth 1,500 PP.

It would really be deflating I'd imagine if prizes were the motivating factor for any collector...

I have popped (estimate) about 200 packs in OOTP 20 and I have six of these.
Roger Mason Bill Wambsganss Eddie Perez Bob Uecker Lew Burdette Al Weis I went to the tail end of my transaction log and found out that I bought Bob Uecker for 20 PP in like the first week. I wanted to have Bob Uecker, apparently. I will now confess that at least twice, my records show, I quick-sold one of these. Jeff Suppan. Josh Fogg. You are missed. I struggle to hide my shame. Edit #3: I now have seven. There was a Johnny Burnett on the market for 50 PP. MINE! How many are there after all?

I'd really like to know whether anybody here is buying/selling these cards for four figures apiece.

Yes. I have spent 5 figures on an unsung iron closer and to that end finally wrapped up the to date 272/272 compete set of Unsung Heroes.
I have not been a seller (yet) so I'm not sure what this will fetch but as for buying I spent over 5000PP several times grabbing up rare Unsung Iron Closers... When I was a kid I used to try my best with my allowance and my trips to the Drug Store that sold Topps cards to get the checklist and complete the set each year and this is no different to me. While I have no desire (or deep enough pockets) to complete the entire 2020 set up all cards it was cool to be able to complete at least one of the sub-sets. Thank you Bill Dahlen for bankrolling this! Would have loved to have pulled him on my Dream Team but he got pulled on my Bronze FTP for a reason I guess. |

About two weeks ago, I saw a 51 Russ Christopher which I wanted for my Indians collection. I very rarely see him in the AH so I bid over 5000. I lost the auction.
Luckily the very next day someone posted that card with a BIN around 1000 about 5 minutes before I logged on. I swooped in and bought it. I haven't seen a Christopher in the AH since. In my opinion, it was worth it. I don't know. We'll see. |

Ah, I wondered why my 46 Jeff Weaver had a relatively high price for an Iron when I put him on the AH earlier
