Anyone know why this happens?
This has happened to me a few times. Is there a setting Im missing.
My AAA club gets in these 1B overload situations. I released most of them, yet they have be re-signed. I guess my assistant GM loves First Basemen I also have 5 in AA and 5 in A ball. Majority of them are over 30. . Most of them are 1B only players. Only a couple have secondary positions, which are very low rated anyways. Last edited by mrbadguy; 11-23-2019 at 07:26 PM. |

There's a setting on your manager options page about signing/releasing minor league players. If you set it under your control, instead of the asst gm, you won't get a bunch of older guys clogging up the path of your prospects.

Yeah I see that problem with both first basemen and sometimes with catchers. If you don't want to micromanage your minor league signings then this can be an issue.
