Draft Eligibility !?
Hi guys, I started a fictional feeder league for my league that works like this:
All created players are 16 and can play until they are 21. I set draft eligibility to be 3 years before they reach the age limit so normally, they can be drafted when they are 18. I just saw that when elibible players get undrafted, they are release by their team even if they didn't reach 21 years old. I want to know if there is something to do to let undrafted 18 to 20 yrs old in their college team instead of becoming free agents!? Thanks! |

Have you set up one feeder league where players on each team are 16-21 or do you have HS and COL leagues?
I have found that when HS kids graduate and don't get drafted they don't always go on to COL. But COL kids who enter the draft before max age and don't get drafted go back to COL. So if you are setting up teams that are 16-21 I'd create this as a COL level league and that might keep undrafted players on the team. Last edited by byzeil; 06-06-2014 at 11:29 AM. |

Yeah that's exactly how my feeder league is set up... Its a college feeder league with draft eligibility set to be 3 years from max age (so 18 years old) But when a 18 years old is undrafted, he is automatically a FA... They only players that goes back to their team are players that are drafted but don't sign with their team.
I don't know what to do |
