The cursebreaker mission looks like one I might entertain.
Historical baker's dozens where you get 12 from the same team & a 13th as the reward.

I like the idea of a "perfect" pack for completing some missions.

Thank the guy who thought it was a good idea to buy it for that price, not the collection missions. I bought one myself for a whole lot less than 300k and sold my much lesser Ruth to make it closer to 100k. These missions do seem to cause people to lose all reason it seems though so maybe you are right to thank them.

Well, the missions were the only reason it got down near 150K in the first place since everyone tried to undercut each other, but now the market is settling back and you don't see 5 available at once. It is likely the best hitting card in the game so I can see it rising back near where it traded before.
Surprised to see a 94 Ruth available for just 55K at the same time so I snatched it up. Hopefully performs close enough, and maybe if a 99 ever comes on the market cheap enough I could create another 100 and pull off the original scheme lol. Last edited by dkgo; 06-27-2019 at 07:18 AM. |

Its at a low point now because multiple people are trying to sell but just a few days ago was at 200K.
But its not just ruth, a lot of premium cards are at a low point. Perfect aaron, schmidt, foxx, hornsby are all at rock bottom right now and still not selling. |

I watch this card daily, and I have not seen the 7-day average at 200K since the mission was released. Maybe one card sold at 200K, but the average has not been anywhere near 200K.

You are right that the average/median hasn't changed, I put the individual listings that I catch on my watch list. A card like perfect Ruth sells so few copies that I don't trust the displayed price stats at all.

I paid 160k for mine. He trained up to 52 at 1B. It's the ONE TIME collections worked out in my favor.

The 99 Ruth currently sells for more than the 100 Ruth. Does anyone play the actual game anymore, or has this just become Perfect Missions?
P.S. The average tracked down to 140K based on two sales that happened last night, so it is indeed working as intended. Last edited by Orcin; 07-04-2019 at 11:16 AM. |

I thought missions would be cool but honestly, I can't say I like them much. It screws with card prices and to me the cards are for playing actual games and assembling a team. Instead scrub guys and average guys now cost a fair amount. On my free to play teams it isn't so easy to put together a team when the price of cards went up so much.

Some of us were always more interested in collecting than outright winning.
I apologize for playing the game in accordance with my preferences.

Who exactly are you apologizing to? You can swing from the chandeliers if you want, I believe we all have a right to our opinion. Yourself included. I don't like them, you do I guess. Hooray.

Perfect Missions have always been part of the game for me, even before they appeared. For some, it appears that they have not become part of the game even after their inclusion in it.

I like the missions overall. I'm not a collector; I complete the mission if the reward is worth it. I think it's good that missions have created value for cards that before were not worth the electronic space they took up. If the life of the F2Per is made more difficult, that's good, too, because no problem was created that can't be solved by buying a few points.

Just remember, I responded to a complaint about how I played. Who is really the sensitive one here?

Just to be clear and reiterate my point, in this thread as well as others, people are being way too sensitive about how other people play the game and about market transactions specifically.

People should not complain about toxic posts in one thread and then try to pick a fight in another thread.
