Is it possible to start on Day One of the 2018 offseason? 11/xx/18?
That, more than anything else, would make me so incredibly super excited for this release.

You could just add one of the foreign leagues and you get a much early start date then opening day. However the mlb rosters are still opening day locked.
you just get a couple extra months to do stuff.i forget the exact league that gets you an earlier date. I think it might be the Netherlands but not 100% sure. |

One thing I do wish we have is the option to start at opening day or spring training.

In theory all it would take would be a quickstart, but the game as currently programmed always assumes December 31 follows the end of an in-game season. With an offseason start, this wouldn't be the case.
