No issue downloading and loading up the stadium files, but no idea what I am doing with altering or changing stuff. Assume that will take time.

One question I do have. I replaced a few of the images in the texture folder with new images (same dimensions and used the same exact file name when I saved/overwrote it). When I open the actual sketchup file shouldn't those changes be reflected?

Sorry for derailing your thread

No, the textures folder only gets created when you export the OBJ file, so OOTP picks those up. The textures in the SketchUp file are actually contained in the file itself.

Looks like I got a lot to learn I have only been messing around with adding my own images to the stadiums and changing some texture colors. Playing around trying to get the hang of things. Thanks for the info though sir eriqjaffe!

All your work here is truly art. You inspired me to try and take my hand at sketchup. I tried drawing up a quick simple HS field, but my skills and patience left a lot to be desired. I'll keep trying, but your work is one of a kind. Keep up this great work, I look forward to every new park you put out.

Victory Field, home of the Indianapolis Indians

Considered one of the finest minor-league ballparks in the nation, Victory Field sits right in downtown Indianapolis and was considered a catalyst for the revitalization of downtown - Lucas Oil Stadium and Bankers Life Fieldhouse are within easy walking distance.

This model features five 3d buildings outside the confines of the park in order to try and replicate the outfield view with some semblance of accuracy. Mind you, four of those buildings were taken in their entirely from the 3D Warehouse. But that being the case, the night view isn't all that different because I didn't want to go through and create night versions of all the buildings.

Eriq, can you make a more on field view or wide view of Armour Field? The overview cuts off too much of the park and action.

I just started on it today, in fact!

Sure, I thought I had done that before. Here's an updated Armour Field with 3d crowds and a day/night skyline:

Found this thread on Chris Creamer's site. Figured I would leave it here. He hand drew a bunch of fictional stadiums, they all look pretty sweet if you ever wanted to tackle some more fictional parks :P

Hey, I'm a huge fan of your work and have used several of your stadiums in my fictional world. I wonder if you'd like to take on a project for me at some point?

In my promotion/relegation setup, I have the Lancaster Barnstormers of Atlantic League fame. What I'd like to do is have an improved version of their real life stadium (Clipper Magazine Stadium). I have them as being promoted, so would like to increase seating capacity to somewhere around 30,000 and make the stadium somewhat cooler. I have named this newly refurbished park "The Barn", but do not have anything beyond that and have no 3D stadium skills to speak of.

Can you/would you help with this? Either way, thanks for all your efforts here!

Those parks are amazing!!! I can't believe the detail on hand drawn stadiums. I am just starting to dabble in stadium creation, but I am for sure going to try some of those.

Also leaving one more link here if Eriq wants to ever tackle these. This is for a concept in Portland but location doesn't matter, this ball park would be awesome in OOTP!

Did I mention that I'd be willing to discuss compensation for this project?

Never mind, I didn't look at another thread when I had 3D crowd issues. Disregard.

Coca-Cola Park, home of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs

Say, do you like advertising? And lots of it? Well, have I got the ballpark for you! Coca-Cola Park was named one of Baseball America's top 3 minor league ballparks in 2018, and the IronPigs are Minor League Baseball's per-game attendance kings since they started playing in 2008, averaging over 9,000 fans per game during that span.

And you're not imagining things, there is a giant acoustic guitar on the concourse in right field. C.F. Martin, whom some believe make the best acoustic guitars on the market, is located in nearby Nazareth. Fans can watch the game through the various holes cut out of the guitar.

Dang! I can certainly appreciate the time it must have taken to put up and align all of those ads! Great work
