No mention of the no-hitter
This one of those rare events that happens when a team is no-hit, but wins the game. However, there's no mention of the no-hitter in the headlines. There's only a mention of a pitching duel. If I'm not mistaken, every no-hitter in my fictional league referenced the no-hitter in the headlines. In fact there was a no-hitter in my fictional league just the day before, where it was mentioned.
I know I can edit the headline, which I will do, but it would be really cool if it could somehow reference the no-hitter and note that the team that was no-hit won the game. Not a major deal, just something I noticed. |

If it's fictional, did the no-hitter really happen?

It didn’t recognize it because the closer finished it. It’s a known problem that the game doesn’t pick up on 2 (or more) pitcher no-hitters.

Not an official no-hitter, as the team did not pitch 9+ innings.
Regardless, eight-inning no hit losses should be recognized as newsworthy. |

I'll drop a note elsewhere in the forum here, but the thing that gets me with no hitters is that they, the SP, doesn't get credit for Player of the Week honors.
Typically, if there is a "historic" performance they give away Co-POTW honors in MLB. Would love to see that incorporated into the game here someway. |
