I expect nothing.

CM, you must have dual monitors, Yahoo Sports on one and OOTPD Talk Sports on the other! Your zeal is surely appreciated by us, indeed.

Yeah, it will probably come to nothing but it won't hurt to show the industry (really, any business) that government is looking over its shoulder. Hey, it's bipartisan which is really something to see and value these days!

But regarding "Consumers are faced with high, hidden fees by primary tickets sellers and resellers that pop up at the end of the purchase and prevents buyers from comparing prices," have you looked at your smartphone bill recently? Ever wonder what all those "surcharges" are?

I don't wonder. As I have said before, this country, probably most countries, allows the commercial world to hold too much sway over what is legal. Politicians claim it is helping "job creators". That's why I say I expect "nothing" to happen. Some congressmen re going to try to push a bill, the ticket brokers are going to pull together a lobby to contribute to a bunch of senators' campaign funds, and then it will all go away.
