Ouch. That was just uncalled for.
So after a completely disastrous second season in my fictional league where both a less than stellar lineup collided head on with some massive injuries, the game hits me with this message. That just hurts... |

LOL, the only comfort you can take from this is the expectation that you will be better next year.

I think those messages should be done away with. They don't seem to be accurate (I remember winning manager of the year one season with a score like that) and you need to win it all to get a great score most of the time.
For one thing, it does not take into account injuries, as far as I know. You can recruit and trade great players but then get a score like that when several of them are on the DL for long periods of time. Just a silly throw-in that should be taken out of the game. Or explain it better, show the analysis, and fine-tune it to seem less arbitrary.

If he had firing turned on, perhaps* he wouldn't have received the message.

I dont even look anymore what my score is. I dont know what all factors into the score but it seems inaccurate. Go 92-70 finish 19 GB, have a score of 39. Win the WS get a score of 100, of course. Lose the WS get a score of 70.

I've hung the ole #1 quite a few times. I'm three for three with my current expansion team.
The part I love is how personal the scolding of the last sentence is. "This is just a terrible score Bob". In other words why the hell did you even bother playing this game! I find it amusing but have never measured my OOTP savvy by it. |

Wouldn't give too much for the score. Most of the time a losing record nets you a 1 score, no matter how bad your team was to begin with.
In 12, even losing the World Series once got me record of ... I could swear it was even over 100.
