You previously mentioned (March 18th I believe) that you cannot control who is on the 40 man roster. Do you mind expanding on this when you have a moment?

I think it would be much more realistic if it was accurately represented, but may not be possible within the program or something?

No, not really. He's projected to be in the pen, so we have to set his stamina low. If we set it higher, the ai will have him as a top starter for sure.

The game ai sets this up itself. It's better that way, believe me. The ai is in control once you hit play, it only makes sense to let it have control of how it sets things up as well.

We could set this manually and force the ai to take the "right" players. Then as soon as you play one day in game, the ai will DFA 15 guys per team and half the guys in the league end up switching teams because it wants to keep different players on the roster than the real teams did.

I just noticed that Rusney Castillo (Red Sox) has a contract that is set to auto-renew next year for 13.5 million.

His contract is up this year. There isn't any team control beyond this season.

That's odd. There's nothing set in the db like that. He's just in the last year of his contract there.

True, but I would think that this could be overridden by giving him a one-year, 13.5 mil deal. 2020 is his option year.

Alec Bohm is primarily a 3B but is being graded as a 1B.

Just because his position is set as 1b, by the ai, doesn't affect his prospect ratings or anything like that. They still grade him at his best position.

I checked the editor. It must be because of the service time (he only has 143 total days). What is the best way to remedy this? My problem is that I won't be able to non-tender him with the auto-renew being there.

You can just cut him once the regular season is up before free agency begins and you won't get a tax hit. You'll have to remind yourself to do that, though.

Would also like to know if there's a setting that does this for you, but that's how I've always side-stepped the issue with other guys.

I am attempting to set up the 2019 Season International League AAA. The Buffalo Bisons are listed as 2013 AAA Buffalo. (see screen shot) and only one player on roster was on 2019 starting squad (see screen shot).
Is this something I can fix.

With only a 28-man expanded roster, I'm mid-playoffs (but eliminated) and can't activate someone from the IL without optioning someone to the minors. I don't want to use an option just to activate someone in the offseason. How can I get around this?

If you have opened the person's profile before he had a FaceGen you will need to either A) go into the editor and use the auto reload picture option under picture functions or b) Go to team settings and go to modify team colors, logos and textures and click request pictures update.
