Michel,

You know places you listed are correct? Or rather that is what the places have become over time. For instance, Fort William became what is now Thunder Bay, which is why those men are listed there. Arbour's are the same as they fall into the same region (Tay), and St. Peters is Selkirk.

I don't consider these errors.

Edit: Also where are you seeing Art Boyce and Art Boyes? I'm not seeing both. Or the Charles'.

historic season 1917 for Boyes and Dieldal. Regarding the places of births for more accuracy have the exact name of the place at the time, not the name in 2020. Edited the city names would be a plus.

George Vezina was born in Chicoutimi, a sector of Saguenay today. Jean-Guy Talbot was born in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Marc-André Bergeron was born in Saint-Louis-de-France two of the 6 sectors of Trois-Rivières, can manually add city names would be great for the historical side of the games.

He is correct that G Art Boyes has a duplicate of Art Boyce (Boyce shouldn't exist) and RW Albert (Charles) Deildal has a duplicate of Charles Dieldahl (Dieldahl shouldn't exist). I always eliminate those 2 duplicates.

I'm actually shocked somebody else noticed this.

I believe you will see all 4 names in a 1917 historical load but will NOT see every retired player in any load of any season in FHM. Not a big deal maybe but that's the way it is.

Adam is right that a lot of the towns from 100 years ago disappeared, were absorbed, or changed their name. The Berlin-Kitchener, Rat Portage-Kenora thing.

A few of the pre-NHL (usually lesser) players ages I believe are out about 10 years but the confirmed data is hard to obtain. Even SIHR records often seem like "maybe" or "likely" entries.

Love having the old-time players in the game though, even though they're just hunks of data

For the names of the cities my goal is not to have them added but to be able to add them myself if I wish, editing city names would be perfect.

Yeah, I had to guesstimate a few ages based on career dates, mainly for the really obscure early guys that don't have much evidence for their existence beyond being a name on a list with a game played or two. PCHA in particular has a few like that.

I'll take the duplicated guys out, didn't know about those. Let me know if you spot any more.
