trouble downloading all in one mod from in game?

anyone else having trouble downloading the all in one mod. Im doing it from in game, but it just keeps saying failed to download it. Ive tried like 50 times now.

Wait a bit. If you have tried 50 times, and a few dozen others are trying at the same time, then it is possible the mod server is struggling to handle the load.

Maybe it's because some thousand people try to download it now. It will be better tomorrow I guess.

Im not waiting a whole day to download stuff. Thats just retarded to have to wait that long.

I preordered this, not my fault I had to work all weekend and couldnt download the game till today.

But to have to wait a whole day to download stuff Ive seen free upload servers able to handle thousands in a day and not have this problem.

I've had problems downloading some of the Add-ons Central stuff since Friday.

In particular, The Historical facegen pack and the Nickname Project.

Have tried several times each day with no luck. Keeps giving this message:

ADDONS_DIALOG::download_file - could not download file

yeah thats the same one IVe been getting for over an hour but it finally just downloaded so my problem is solved.

Please keep in mind that ootpmods.com is a community project and all the guys do all the work for free and don't get any money for it. And then they host the stuff on an ad-free server for you. So please be kind.

It might be useful to remember that these mods are FAN created, not the work of Marcus, who is nice enough to even connect to the server at the risk of the ire of MLB and it's trademarks. No where in the game does it say, either in warranties, advertising, or any other publication that these things come with the game. You have to remember that the game has no licenses for this content. And it is not the fault of everyone else that you didn't download the game with the pre-order bunch. I think you would get more flies with honey, calm down, and wait a while as the advice you were given suggests. Even larger servers like Amazon have this kind of trouble.
