Will the International Signee cap be optional following this patch? I can see people playing a league based on pre-current CBA rules wanting to be able to do that.

You should be able to just set the cap to some insane amount in league setup and effectively have no cap I would think. |

The demands on the signees have been reported to scale in proportion to the cap. So, if you set the cap to 1 billion dollars, the prospects start demanding 900 million dollar contracts.

Markus, I know you all have worked tremendously hard. Thank you for your tedious work. If you or someone on your team could look into this I'd appreciate it. It's now happened twice and I'm hesitating to play again as I don't want to get invested into a league and have it happen. Thanks.

This was reported in the Bug Thread? Can you provide a link, please?

that...sucks. I was just tossing an idea off the top of my head, since I have mine at default. Yeah, I can understand wanting an option to get rid of it, OR the option to have it not scale if actually turning it off messes up other things. |

I have just tested by changing the cap to $1bil and the player demands do scale with the cap. I changed the cap back to $3mil on July 1 and the players demands changed without doing anything else so they appear to be directly calculated as a percentage of the cap. This really doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Why have the ability to adjust the cap if the players demands just scale with the adjustment? I would think the players demands would be somehow related to the league salary structure.

Plus when I set it to $0 the rules that appear on the page above the list of players changed and only showed the first two lines. The penalties and restrictions went away. So does setting it to $0 disabled the International Amateur FA cap and the rules regarding it? Sort of like setting the development budget to $0? EDIT: Sorry this stuff probably doesn't belong in this thread. The was a post in 'Suggestions for OOTP15' about being able to turn off the cap and I have put this information there. nah, that's good stuff Byzeil. Exactly what I was going to test when I got a chance today.
So, I'm curious what the determining factor is on those players with the budget at 0. Is it just whoever gets a deal in first? |

Well you can still offer a bonus on the minor league contract. The deciding factors, I'm guessing, are the same that determines where any player offered identical contracts signs, either major or minor league. What are those factors? Not 100% sure. I guess winning can be a factor or opportunity in the system. Don't know for sure.

This is what I love about Marcus... yes, software releases are never perfect, but he listens to the towns people and gets on it.

Give the Game a command to do like say put all Drafted by the Mets on the Mets or all not Drafted on the Free-Agent Market.
