Union League Baseball - Just converted to OOTP20
The ULB has just completed the 2029 season, and is moving to OOTP20 for the 2030 season. The offseason is slated to start on Tuesday, July 23rd,and we're looking to fill a few holes. We have recruited for a while due to the pending move to the latest version of OOTP, so we're looking at the largest amount of openings in the league's history.
PM me with an email address and I will invite you to our Slack group to get you set up! Contenders San Juan Storm (88-74, 1st place PL Atlantic Division. Minors rank 3rd,5 top 100 Prospects, 1 Union Cup Win since 1995) One of the smallest markets in the league, the Storm do have dedicated fans, who have endured a decade of losing before 2029, when they came from behind to take the top spot in a tough division. (Thanks for selling Havana!) The Storm fell to the Connecticut Whales in the PL Divisional Cup this season, but the fans in Puerto Rico are excited to see the Storm contenders once again. New Mexico Suns (89-73, 2nd Place FL Central Division. Minors rank 18th, 5 top 100 prospects, 0 Union Cup Wins since 2004) The Suns just came onto the market as the GM switched teams. The Suns are built to win now, and also have some talent in the pipeline. With their rotation hopefully back for 2030 intact and the Stabb-Alexander's ready in the lineup, the Suns will most likely once again challenge for the Division title with Houston. Neutral NONE Rebuilding NONE Key league Info League founded 1995 with 16 teams, expansion in 2001 (to 18 teams), 2004 (to 20 teams), 2022 (to 24 teams). Boston and New York have made some good moves in FA. NM and SJS are semi tapped out in terms of FA Money at the moment.

The San Jose Jedi stumbled in 2030. They went from being a playoff bound team (with a losing record and a -8 PYT) to basement dwellers with a 66-96 record in 2030.With only 100.1 million invested in the team, and half of that coming off the books in 2032, they are primed to embark on a transitional period. The farm system ranks 16th with a couple of top 50 prospects who may be ready to join the ranks of the Jedi in 2031.An interesting team to take over if you want to completely change everything.

The Boston Colonials made the playoffs in 2030, though they did have to fight off the Whales for the last spot in the Wild Card. At 83-80, it wasn't an easy season, but the Colonials do have possibly the best infield in the ULB, even with their 2B leaving in Free Agency. They have a young core pitching staff that needs to be added to, and could use another bat at 2B and possibly an outfielder. Not much in the farm system, but they have money to work with in the offseason and could make some splashes to overtake the Kings for the Division in 2031.

San Juan is a beast in the making. #1 Farm system. Went on a tear in September and took the Division. Won 95 games, but got swept in the Playoffs by the Kings. The team has best offense in the league by far, and if they can add some pitching depth, watch out.
