Ballpark types in OL perfect league

So we already know there is a strong lefty meta in OL perfect league. I thought I would check just how strong it is.

First of all, about 49% of all starts this year in the league have been by left-handed pitchers. That is pretty extraordinary in-and-of itself. I thought I would check the ballparks for all teams and categorize them. Following are the number in each category:

Lefty (10 teams): One of these has a slight prejudice towards contact hitting, the others are purely (or almost purely) lefty.

Contact (6 teams): These teams bump up batting average (and generally doubles and triples as well), and bump down home runs.

Null (4 teams): These teams have neutral park factors across the board.

Righty (3 teams): Only one of these is a "pure" righty team. One of them also bumps up power and the other bumps up batting average.

Idiosyncratic (3 teams): These have ball park factors that are not easy to categorize.

Defense (2 teams): These teams bump down batting average, power, and doubles/triples to keep run scoring down.

Offense (1 team): This team bumps everything up to have a lot of runs scored.

Power (1 team): This team bumps up home runs and pushes down batting average, doubles, and triples.

So 1/3 of all teams are lefties -- that is pretty extraordinary; although contact teams are a strong second place. I wonder how that compares to other perfect leagues.

What did you class the Cowboys as? Used to fit the Contact theme, but I bumped down the AVG factors to help my terrible pitchers.

I changed from heavy contact lefty team with a lefty ballpark emphasis to a mix this season and last, had better success with it last season than this one (although team ERA was inflated). IF I'm not relegated this season, I will probably switch back. It's hard to deny how well it appears to work.

I still classed the Cowboys as Contact team...

Rangers Rolling Along in OL S317

Kansas had a tidy 4-2 month to maintain a comfortable lead at the half-way point. Asheboro, 7-2, and Northeast Corridor, 10-6, turned around their seasons to join the pack of chasers.

Just checked, it was 8105 --- 3000 for a "pounding", 3000 for "Touching the plate", and about a page's worth of more minor ones.

That is insane. Only ONE lefty team? I can only assume that team is relatively successful.

I wonder what the reason for that is. I just pulled a 98 Williams from a diamond pack reward. Dh or sell?

Depends. Do you need the DH badly, or do you have a weakness elsewhere?

EDIT: Also, definitely a little jealous. Still 7 diamond collection reward packs in, no historicals...

Rangers Scuffle as Race Widens in OL S317

Kansas stumbled to a 3-6 mark and came back to the pack, thus expanding the crown chase to at least seven teams going into the final two months. Asheboro, 4-1, Tacoma, 3-1, Terra Incognita, 6-2, Reno, 6-3, and Frankenthal, 8-6, all gained ground yesterday.

I personally love having my 98 Ted at DH.

Definitely not. They are about .500, this season and career. No PL titles. The league has 11 PL championships between four teams, so pretty typical.

Bronze 228 is broken

Four OL teams are competing in B228. However, the only games between any of the 4 teams is Gotham vs. Stephensville and Wheatland vs. Sierra Vista.

And Gotham, Wheatland, and Sierra Vista still do not identify as being -OL in any way. So I don't know what to make of that.
