Subforums needed for this forum?

What about having some sub-forums to help divide up the open league opportunities so we don't have to look so hard to find a league we like.

For example; sub-forums such as:

Modern Day - MLB

Modern Day - Fictional

Modern Day - Random Debut

Historical - MLB

Historical - Fictional

Historical - Random Debut

Did I miss one or two categories??

Wouldnt that be easier and more helpful?

Jason

Good idea. I'll work on it.

Sounds awesome!! But what is the difference between modern fictional and historical fictional? Like my TBC league started in 1970. Is is historical? Will it change to modern after about a year when we get to the 2000s?

Yes that is a great point.
We could agree as a group that any league that is current year and beyond is considered "modern day". Any league prior to 2016 is historical.

So to your question if your league that began in 1970 is in 1985 - that would be historical fictional. If your league that began in 1970 is in 2020 - that would be modern day fictional.

Cool?

I'd also like to get back to requiring leagues to use the template that was established way back when. For some reason some posts just stopped using the format and it began hard to figure out if the league had a website or not etc.. There should be one consistent template used again to post league openings.

Was just going to suggest that, but will second your idea.

Even instead of separate sub-forums, if you could open a thread and have an immediate description, using agreed categories, that would definitely help navigating leagues that pop up.

modern-fictional
historical-real
historical-fictional
