Greater variety of game generated names?

I always assumed the mobile game shared the names database with OOTP, but I'm beginning to think that's not the case.

Especially for players from the Dominican, Venezuela etc.. I'm starting to see the same names over and over:

Carlos Hernandez
Jorge Gonzalez
Felipe Martinez
Juan Cabrera

Etc..

I know these are common names, but in OOTP there is a MUCH greater variety in names. Even with North American players, you kind of get tired seeing Steve Phillips and John Miller etc..

So my question is, with future installements is there any chance we can have an improved naming database?

I seem to find someone with the name Jose Martinez or Juan Gomez in most of my drafts. Id like greater name variety like ootp

If you are not happy with the names change them. I use this site to generate random names.

Nope. They'll give you first, up to 3 middle names, and a last name is optional. I always use it.

Sorry, no new features are slated to be added because the one developer who works part-time on this game wants to make sure the program size is small enough to run on older versions of the iPhone and Microsoft Zune.

he said future installments as in a future game, such as mlb manager 16, not an update.
