iOOTP 2013 submitted to Apple!
OK guys, we have submitted iOOTP 2013 to Apple today!
If all goes well and the folks in Cupertino don't mess with us, then the game will be released April 4th. Here is the final feature list:
So, please keep your fingers crossed that the review process doesn't take too long Cheers, Markus |

Will the game come with the 1969 season again and how much will it cost? Thanks for your hard work.

So is there still no way to create and edit players?

I have a league that is many seasons old in iOOTP 2012. What are our options for using that league in iOOTP 2013?

First of all apologies for my silence but I worked 3 month non-stop with most work-"days" ending at 4 AM in the morning. Finishing two projects at the same time is something that I will never ever do again but this year it was not possible to do it another way.
As Markus already wrote, iOOTP 2013 is with Apple since Monday, so let's keep our fingers crossed they review it quickly and without any problems. Here are a few screenshots from the new GUI, iPhone first, then iPad: iPad: One of the new features are custom ballpark pics. They are easy to use (no 3rd party tool needed, just iTunes!) and make the game much cooler (Disclaimer: the used ballpark pic below is not part of iOOTP 2013, I just used one from a OOTP user-created ballpark pack!):

An Android version is not in my hands so I don't know when it will appear, sorry.

Of course it is possible to transfer previously purchased seasons from 2011/2012 to the 2013 game. iOOTP 2013 will again be $4.99.

Thats a hardcore feature only a handful user will ever use. The good news is: we have it planed for one of the first free updates to the 2013 edition, it just needs a little more time.
Another "good" news: Apple forces us to support Retina + iPhone 5 screensize so expect it in the game in the near future.

Is iPhone 5 resolution supported? Just saw that it isn't at launch but will be: "Another "good" news: Apple forces us to support Retina + iPhone 5 screensize so expect it in the game in the near future." Thanks!

Followup question/suggestion: It would be great if there was a way to export or save the stats from previous seasons. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, just a raw file that could then be used. In game commentary presents stats like a player's stats against an individual team but there is no way for us the user to get those stats ourselves. I am thinking of something such as a raw game log type listing... even better if it could be saved directly to dropbox. |

Any chance of a AAA aspect of the game being included?

Good to hear. I'm sure the updates will be nice.
Would love to have a way to see stats for last ten games or last ten days. Even better if you add options for 5, 10, 20, etc. nice to see who is hot or not in more detail than the hot/cold icon. |

Yes, even though I don't know iFunBox. But every explorer type program should work. The "get from device" can be made with iTunes, just the "add back in" part needs a 3rd party tool as Apple does not allow to add folders via iTunes Share.

By the way, I added another small feature to iOOTP 2013:
it is now super easy to reset (or transfer) the purchased season info to all your owned devices, no need to "purchase" them again. It is just one button tab now ...
