That's Joe Henderson
The unidentified 1970 Angel misidentified as Rudy May is Joe Henderson, who pitched briefly for the White Sox in '74 and the Reds in '76 and '77.

I knew he looked familiar - and his name jumped off the page when I looked up the Angels' '70 Spring Training roster.

Here's a '75-76 Reds shot for comparison.

I am hoping that Merkle or any other generous collector could help me with a better image for 2 stars of the early 70s. Thigh high, posed, color topps preferred. Willie Montanez and Bobby Bonds both in 1974 sample uni below. Notice the home Giants on chest is orange with black trim and the phillies road with the white and red piping.

1970-71 Astros Home jersey
Would anybody have a pic or 2 of a 1970-71 that you can see the back of someone wearing a "7" like Johnnny Edwards or someone with a "7" in their number. I want to see the shape of it to do my 1971 Home Astros jersey. I know the road ones used the Red Sox font.

Wow, I just realized I only had a sub-par black and white photo for Dean Chance with the Tigers 1971. Is there a decent color, non-head only photo available?
