Game not using the lineup I submit
I turned on 7-day lineups and submitted a lineup for the current day, submitted my team, and check the box score after the sim to see that the computer made a pregame substitution I didn't want made, and this seems to have happened more than once for me.

After 6 games in June, despite not even having my depth chart filled behind my starting catcher, the game has decided to start my backup in 3 of those 6 games. This is a gamebreaking error for me. If I don't have final control on how my lineup is set, why am I playing this game?

I think this instance may be boiling down to the fatigue issue you mentioned, which I suppose would mean it's a bug with the card? It's J.T. Realmuto. This guy needs rest like I've never seen before. I'll keep a log during tomorrow's sims and let you see how quickly his energy depletes. Defnitely not natural for any big leaguer, especially Realmuto

Gave Realmuto two days off in a row 9/2 and 9/3
Date - Rest level to start day - play/sit ??% means I missed checking on his energy between sims 9/4 - 100% - played 9/5 - 100% - played 9/6 - 68% - played 9/7 - 22% - sat 9/8 - 97% - played 9/9 - ??% - played 9/10 - ??% - sat 9/11 - ??% - played 9/12 - 37% - played 9/13 - ??% - sat 9/14 - 67% - played 9/15 - 22% - sat (despite me inserting him in a 7-day lineup) 9/16 - 97% - played 9/17 - 52% - played 9/18 - 7% - sat (despite me inserting him in a 7-day lineup) 9/19 - 82% - played 9/20 - 41% - played 9/21 - 0% - sat (despite 7-day lineup) 9/22 - 75% - played 9/23 - 30% - sat (despite 7-day lineup) I could go on, but the problem with his energy level is clear. 2015: 116 2016: 124 2017: 125 2018: 111 So, starting about 2/3 of the season is about right -- 2/3 of 162 is 108, but with off days, he could start as many as about 120. It does feel wrong that he can't ever start 3 in a row, but starting 3 in a row without punishment would almost certainly lead to unrealistic start totals. That's why I think a tweak to make sure he doesn't need a day off after just one start is good, but I guess I'm not surprised the game forces your hand after two starts. |

I'm not sure about the level of fatigue for hitters and what the devs have it set at for PT. When playing default OOTP a backup catcher will receive about 40-60 games. But I can definitely make sure the devs give me an answer about Catchers and playing time. It is definitely something we could review for OOTP20 PT to make sure it's balanced.
Thanks Alex |

The fatigue level is set high in PT. Catchers can't go more than about 2/3 of the time
