Introducing, the Baseball League of America. A *Fictional* OOTP 19 Online League
The Baseball League of America, or BLA, is an online fictional league that sims on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at 1:30 pm ET. I will live stream the league on twitch during big events. We use Slack as our primary communications platform and are a premium StatsPlus league. The league consists of 2 sub-leagues of 8 teams each with 4 levels of minors. The season is broken up into 4-game series for a total of 112 games. Each regular season takes just under 7 real life weeks to complete.
Full League Name (Initials): Baseball League of America (BLA) Website URL: https://statsplus.net/blamerica/home/ League Rule Book: https://statsplus.net/blamerica/forum/rules StatsPlus: https://statsplus.net/blamerica/ League Reports: https://statsplus.net/blamerica/reports/news/html/ OOTP Version: OOTP 19 (yearly upgrade) Players: Fictional # Of Teams: 16 total. 2 leagues with 8 teams each Exports Days: Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun. Export deadline 1:30 PM ET League Time Per Sim: 7 days Season Length: 112 games Current Season: 1983 (4th Season) Unique League Rules & Settings: No Overall/Potential Stars, 20-80 scale, Anti-tanking draft pool system to prevent tanking (not a lottery) Twitch Channel:http://twitch.tv/jcp1417 History of baseball in the world of BLA In the early years of baseball in the United States, leagues were largely regional and compartmentalized. Prior to 1980, the major league in the USA was the American Baseball League which folded after the 1979 season largely due to over-expansion. It had been in operation for over a quarter century. Beginning in the spring of 1980, the Baseball League of America began operations as a dual-leagued entity. Each league would have 8 teams and the winner of that league would play the winner of the other league for the American Cup. Teams of the Eastern League

I play in this league and I couldn't recommend it enough.
The commish is always on top of things and takes the league seriously. The sim schedule is outstanding as well. Doesn't feel like a full time job or get overwhelming. Plenty of time to pay attention to all your rosters. |

It's a great time to get in on a new and very promising league with a great commissioner and competitive GM's.
We are just completing the inaugural season. Time to hop aboard and enjoy the BLA ride! |

I'm going to be running my own league with friends this year, but just wanted to say your logos and uniforms are awesome. Did you make them yourself, or did you get them somewhere?
