Historical League - Stadium Capacity

I started a fictional historical league in 1900 with 1900 financials that update automatically each year the league progresses. Each team was automatically assigned a generated stadium that reflected a max capacity based on the time period. Baltimore's stadium has a capacity of 6200 for instance.

The problem is, as the league financials progress and the attendance baseline increases, the stadium capacities stay the same. I got to 1960 and the attendance baseline is 17732 for the league, the the stadiums are still at their original capacities (about 6000 per stadium). How does attendance baseline affect financials with regards to stadium capacities? Does anyone else have a league set up similarly?

You have to increase stadium capacities yourself - the game doesn't do it automatically (I don't even think stadium capacities change when you have league evolution checked - someone can correct me if I'm wrong). The same goes for building new ballparks - you have to do that yourself.

I see an era_ballparks.txt file with historical ballpark information. How does that get imported into the game?

That file is used in historical set-ups. It won't get loaded into a fictional league.

That's the part I was missing. Thanks!

Both PsStricket & Gambo both have some good .prk files. Gambo has hard to find parks like the *** & Negro parks. Gambo's set is on ootpmods.com Pstricket's file in on here , somewhere and is year by year. I use real parks for even fictional teams.
