So great job there!
When will the new features/improvement list come out?
That list won't be for awhile - the biggest change is going to be the UI redo just like we did on the basketball games this past year. It is amazingly sharp and makes the games just fantastic to look at and play. You can look on our social feeds as we released a WIP screenshot yesterday.

We also just started streaming on Twitch so follow our social outlets and our Twitch account (wolverinestudios) and I am sure we will use that do a reveal of things at some point as well.

Has the financial model been tweaked to allow NFL style contracts?

Although I liked the look of the game, having an artificial maximum cap on any contract was bothersome, and the games inability to handle top end contracts (after upping the bothersome maximum $10m to say $20m, it gave everybody huge contracts which meant every team was 2x or 3x the cap on start up) killed DDPF20 immediately for me

I'm not sure if you tried a current version or one of the earlier ones - I believe there were some contract related issues in an early release that were corrected with one of the updates.

That said the game does and will continue to have "NFL style contract options" - you can front load, back load, franchise tag and there are settings to assign portions of contracts as guaranteed to replicate the signing bonus vs yearly salary.

I am sure Brooks and his team will also review the contract items as well especially if there is anything in particular you would like to see added.

I would also say this - neither our pro football or pro basketball game mirrors the real CBAs exactly. These teams hire full time people to study and monitor the cap - it's a job. We don't want playing the games to be a job so we really create hybrid scenarios where we are taking the overall spirit of things and executing them in a game where you can enjoy the game and have it feel realistic and IMO it works well. Like I said though if there is something in particular you feel the game is missing we would be happy to look at it and see if it can be added.

Hi Gary, It is nice to see you over here. I have to say that DDSPF is a quality game just like all the others you do. Your basketball can’t be beat. It is the Basketball version of OOTP baseball. 😁

I have severely underestimated this game. I ended up getting into the DDS college game and started figuring out how things really work. At first it just felt like things were very random and I was just guessing at things. But after digging in and finding out how things work together it is a very addictive game. The recruiting is a blast.. like free agency all year. Be cool if some of the features of recruiting were used in the pro game free agency period.. like talking points etc.

I'm going to use some of the stuff I've figured out in the college game and see if I can get into a save that entertains me in the pro game.

My only major peeve left is not being able to accept or decline penalties. And I see the AI spike the ball to stop the clock but still don't know if I can do that. End of the halfs clock management seems slim. Go out of bounds to stop the clock young man!

I spent most of the day yesterday playing the game, in between snack and lunch breaks, and some yard work. I really like the draft part, and what they've done.

Click on League Media - Magazines - Draft Guide, and gives a list of each prospect from 1st overall to the very last rated player. And you can get a break down by position. Also, League Media - News, and these two guys, Moore & Nox to a nice breakdown of the top 10 players.

League Media - Free Agency Preview - During Free Agency - Gives updates on remaining free agents. After Free Agency - Gives a breakdown of potential free agents for next season. That's always helpful.

So this is what it looks like to me, whole left hand side is all messed up and makes it nearly impossible to navigate. I've never managed to even get to the draft.

Tried to attach a file

Check your DPI settings and see if they are set to normal (100% or 96dpi)

I'm really not a basketball fan. But I bought the college game and can't stop playing it. It's right up there with OOTP baseball as the most fun I've ever had with a sports simulation. Just an incredibly well done game.
