Circular trades

It's great to see trades now in the historical mode. I suppose some adjustments do need to be made, so here is an example.

Dave Dryden was traded four times on deadline day. He was sent from Vancouver to Pittsburgh to Detroit (who put him on the reserve roster) to the Rangers and then back to Vancouver.

He was traded back to the same team that he started the day on!!

Three or even four way trades are possible I suppose, but I doubt that the same team who traded him out truly wants him back. Screenshot attached.

I also saw plenty of cases where the player traded never played on the team traded to... including a young Guy Lapointe traded for five guys (including roster players) but not setting foot on ice with his new team for the whole season. I think giving up five players to get him, he'd be coveted enough to see ice time...

Dave Dryden sent from Van to Pit for Claude Larose (who days earlier was acquired by Pit from Mtl for five players).

Pit sent him to Det for Alex Delvecchio (age 38)

Det then sent him to Rangers for Tannahill, Newell, and J.Bob Kelly

Rangers sent him back to Canucks for Hargreaves, Walton, Wright

The following season he was traded again on Oct 25, to St.Louis, who flipped him to the Rangers a week later where he finally played some games again. This in a season where he was suddenly playing great. Rangers are so happy with him after 9 GP that they traded away Eddie Giacomin for higher priced mediocre players.
