Panapolis and Arkwood make moves
The first major trade of the season is between two of the lower performing teams in Panapolis and Arkwood. Arkwood recived 25 Year-Old Starting Pitcher Evangelo Pongsai for 27 Year-old Thridbasemee Dilberto Rodriguez, 25 Year old firstbasemen Estivez Foisy, and 22 Year-old Secondbasmen Azibo Douzable. It seems like Arkwood was just trying unload it's higher-end salaries while Panapolis is still working on getting out of the basement.

The Streak is Over
Cosme Morin's Hitting streaks ends at 28, setting a new record for the longest hitting streak. "I'm proud of myself but I know the work isn't over yet." He said. The Seahawks are still in a close four way race at the moment for a shot at the championship series with a 55-37 Record leading the league currently.

Setbacks for the Railbirds
Being right in the hunt for chance to play the championship series is great but when you lose talent star talent like Damarcus Deleandro to injury it hurts. The shortstop was examined by team doctors last night and was announced he had shoulder bursitis and will be out for 4 weeks. Delenadro was hitting .314 on the season with 38 runs and 34 RBIs.

Draft Day
Draft day has came and come and teams made their selection. The number one overall pick by the Cinehallow Howlers was Left Handed 18 year old Sandro Cardenas. The most ideal choice with such a high ceiling we hope to see him in the PNBL soon. Congrats to all the players drafted and good luck.

A New Standard
Yammoe's Chancellor Lightbourn has sitting down batters at a record pace. He's now holds the single season strikeout record currently at 210, Orignally held by Rivaldo Alvarez in 1973 with the Cinehallow Howlers. The seven year veteran is currently having a amazing season with 13 wins and 12.8 Strikeout per Nine. He's looking to be a heavy favorite for pitcher of the year this season.

The Rumors
PSNN has been able to get insider infromation on the possible cities in the running for a PNBL franchise, and wanted to give our opinions on the most realistic cities.
  1. Goldcoast
The Second most populated city in the nation, It's at the Southern part of the main island and would be a solid market to place a team.
  2. Morely Bay
Morely Bay is Adjacent to Ramshead Isle which is a 30 minute ferry ride from one another and combined is a 500,000 estimated population.
  3. Maplebridge
On the Southeast side of the main Island, It's a major tourist destination and steadily growing market with the highest household income of any city over 100,000 people.
  4. Kaesmouth
One of the furthest cities on the list towards the west, it would better help out Cinehallow and boosting both markets if added.
  5. Eastmount Valley
Eastmount is rested in between, some of the most densely populated cities in Arkwood,Panapolis, Yammoe. It's got a solid population at over 150,000.
  6. Merriton
Merriton is one other westward city, while also helping with securing the westward markets of Prislands, it's surrounded by other smaller cities within a hour or less to possibly help support a potential franchise there.

The same struggle has been had for Yammoe and Decuamni who are both 4-6 in the last ten games. South Decumani is a game and a half with three games left to play.

Battle of the Birds
Yammoe clinched the second spot for the PNBL champioship series putting them against the historically dominate Fayport Railbirds. The Seahawks have been 4-9 in the championship series, being swept twice once by Arkwood Phoenix and by the Fayport Railbirds. The Railbirds are currently making their 9th Championship Series appearance and securing the 9th Championship. This should be a equally matched series as both teams are in either 1st or second in most team categories.

Game 1
An amazing down to the wire game to start off the series. Yammoe came back from a 4-0 deficit starting from the 7th inning. slowly chipping away at Fayport's Early lead to tie the game back up to 4-4 and forcing two more extra innings. A lot of this stellar performance by the team can be contributed to leadoff man Cosme Marin, whose been one the best hitters all season. He went 4 for 5 today with a 7th Inning Solo shot to kick start the teams run production late game.

Yammoe now leads the series 1-0 and still have another game to play at Fayport's Pongsai Stadium.

Game 2
Fayport Struggled early this game to comeback and fall out short to the seahawks again. Starting pitcher LeVon Lishtiohadi allowed 3 earned runs and 4 walks during his time on the bump. The Opposite can be said for the Seahawks Menyang Tsia who went for 6 innings and 5 strikeouts and giving up only one run.

Yammoe now leads the series 2-0 and will now take the series home to Pinnicale Ballpark

Game 3
Yammoe is on a roll, an amazing pitching performance by it's staff. Not allowing a single run by fayport to win the game 6-0. The Railbirds are now with their backs to the wall and need a win to stay alive with the next game. Fayport will still have to play another game at Yammoe to avoid the sweep.

Game 4
Fayport did not play games this game, The railbirds got the bats out and where ready to bring runs home. Winning by a secure 11-4 and a lot of workload pulled through by Railbirds catcher John Kennedy Al-Haqq. He went 2-3 on the game with a 2 run homerun and 4 total RBIs. Fayport hopes to continue series with another win for game 5 while they still play at Pinnicale Ballpark.

Series sits at 3-1 Yammoe.
