Kaloomps, BC - Norbrook Stadium

Kaloomps apparently bills itself as the City of Tournaments, having hosted several Canadian athletic tournaments. It has a whole set of baseball diamonds on the middle of an island, so I grabbed the largest of them and turned it into a retractable roof stadium. This should be good enough for a baseball tournament, right?

The stadium plays relatively hitter friendly, including a lot of home runs.

That would be correct. Friday it was 1 degree, today it is snowing. Someday spring will get here, but since today isn't that day...

Moncton was actually the next in the queue for me, and I was going to do a different field, but I really liked that suggestion Isedelyod. The location is pretty cool (in the middle of a neighborhood) so I decided to make it a jewel box style park with a few old fashioned touches including the bullpens on the field.

The field plays pretty pitcher friendly overall, and the right field wall balances out the power splits.

Niagara Falls, ON - Oakes Park

Next up on the tour, Niagara Falls, and while I know (I know I know I know) it's cliche, I just couldn't help myself - there is a waterfall in center field.

Otherwise, the stadium is pretty neutral, with a slight preference to pitchers. It's a relatively even stadium all the way around, so there isn't much of a split either.

Thunder Bay, ON - Central Baseball Diamond

This park is pretty straight forward - I based it on the old donut stadiums of the 1960s and 70s (there had to be at least one, right?) It plays pretty neutral, with a slight preference for right handed hitters.

Saguenay QC - Stade Richard Desmeules

I realized I needed another city in Quebec for my league, so I went to my old trusty friend (the wikipedia entry on the largest census metropolitan areas and agglomerations in Canada - seriously, it autofills at this point) and came across Saguenay. (And yes, I know Trois-Rivieres makes more sense - it's coming later.) I was poking around the city and found this cool looking park in the western part of the city, so I turned it into a jewelbox style park in the vein of Shibe Park, including some pillars in between the levels of the stadium.

The park is pretty pitcher friendly despite its small size, partially because its so far north. Because of the short right field walls I added another large wall in right field.

Brandon, MB - Andrews Field

This is another request from Isedelyod, and I think a similar model was requested by another forum user last summer. The stadium is relatively similar to the traditional half circle outfield, but I added two deers and a horse to center field because that is part of the crest of the city. Also, the stadium logo is pretty flipping sweet:

The stadium plays slightly pitcher friendly, particularly with the larger outfield corners.

Langley, BC - McLeod Athletic Park

Thanks (again) to Isedelyod, I was turned on to Langley as a hotbed of baseball activity in the British Columbia area. While the suburb is relatively small, the baseball program it has is pretty prominent, and the stadium apparently is one of the nicest in the province. With that in mind, I took the outline (including the bullpens in the outfield) and added a large complex in right field.

The park is very pitcher friendly, and the large structure in Right will be death to all left handed power hitters - unlike every other park in Canada apparently.

Just wanted to point out the visible "Google Earth" logo in the backdrop on Andrews Field.

But overall, the amount and quality of work you've done in such a short time is absolutely staggering!

Markham, ON - Crosby Park

Markham is a larger suburb of Toronto to the east of the city - I figured it was a good addition (on top of Missausagua and Brampton) for folks that want to do a GTA division. The actual ballpark is in the middle of a generic city park, so I added a home run rocket ship in left field. You can use your imagination for all the fireworks that go off after a home run.

The park is pretty neutral, playing slightly pitcher friendly. There won't be a lot of extra base hits, so expect a lot of small ball if you field a team here.

Thanks! I bumped the skyline down a bit more so it shouldn't show up in the background and re-uploaded the zip drive file. It's a tricky skyline (plains and no google map 3d structures) but I think it should be invisible in the background now.

And thanks for the feedback. I appreciate the detail and artistry of your fields - the Buffalo one was a work of art.

Kingston, ON - Megaffin Field

Working our way eastward, I took a ballpark in Kingston and relocated it onto the campus of the Royal Military College of Canada. It's a pretty beautiful location - I hope the Canadian military doesn't mind.

The park plays pretty neutral, but benefits right handed batters more than lefties in a rare feature for a Canadian park.

Saint John, NB - Memorial Field

Memorial Field is the home of the Saint John Alpines, a part of the New Brunswick Senior Baseball League. It's a pretty straight forward stadium that I added a statue and a neighborhood to.

The stadium is very pitcher friendly - the combination of being that far north and that close to the sea means the air is heavy and hard to hit through. Good luck with all of the 1-0 games.

Sydney, NS - Susan McEachearn Memorial Ballpark

I've been working on a few ballparks recently to close out my Canadian project (round 2) The next three are the final in the set - I'll have witty comments on them eventually, but for now, here are the final three of the second round of Canaidan sets - starting with Susan McEachern Memorial Ballpark.

Fredericton, NB - Royals Park

Isedelyod recommended this park for me when I was poking around Fredericton. It was built in the 1880s, so I decided to keep the old fashioned park feeling, including the old wood wall.

Trois Rivieres, QC - Stade Fernand Bedard

Lastly we have Trois-Rivieres's Stade Fernand Bedard. It's an older park, built in the 1930s. The straight lines of the actual park along the outfield foul territory made me think of using it as a retractable roof stadium.

So, again, a quick word on the way forward. Game, I'm going to work on your Kane County park next, followed by jbaumgardt1's Little Rock request. After that I'll take a look back through the sheet and figure out what I want to do next. Thanks again for all of your support in this forum fam!

I also want to give a specific shout out to isedelyod for all of his help in the candian parks. He pointed me to a lot of the stadiums and signs that I used throughout this process, and I'm deeply grateful for his help.
