Who are the top 3 starters in PT?
If the playoff game was on the line, who is your top 3 PT2.0 choices?
Does not necessarily need to be on your current team. This is all starters in the PT universe.

If the playoff is a tournament, null. Depends on the opposing team, because tourney parks are neutral.
If we're on the road, null. (no choice is possible without knowing which ballpark, and they vary wildly). If we're at home...Dizzy Dean has the highest historical WinP on the Penguins, but pretty much the entire staff is toast in Perfect so the question just might be moot. Pardon me, this RRF3 tournament is going down to the wire, all tied up going into the deciding game. We lost to Jim bleeping Merrit? [eyeroll] Last edited by Lemandria; 11-28-2019 at 03:03 AM. |

The new 100 Pedro, 100 Walter Johnson and I guess 100 Cy Young.

I recently fell victim to the spreadsheet and bought "perfect" greg maddux to replace 99 walter, he has been a massive disappointment. era two runs higher than every other starter last season and this. price has dropped like 50k in the meantime too, gonna replace him with ruffing once i finish the yankees mission

Ive got 100 infield defense too except for 1b. Oh well juat gonna take the loss. Although some players definitely seem to take time to "gel" before producing regardless of what the official stance is.

If you want to have success with these GB pitchers, i suggest you not only have a grade defensive IF but your ball park factors are lower than average.

Thanks. I am 0 for 3. 100 Maddox, 100 Clemens and 100 Peak Randy Johnson. Hopefully competitive enough? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's not exactly terrible. I have Clemens in my rotation and have looked at Maddux 99, not sure on 100's numbers.

What's the thought process there? Keep singles down? I assume power is fine since I've never seen a grounder go over the fence.

I don't know about his thought process but mine is: the lower the stuff the more balls are put in play, so more chance for hits or luck to play a role (babip). Lowering the park factors lower the # of potential hits, thus helping Maddux keep his opponent batting average under control.

Cy Young 100, Perfect Pedro either, and Walter Johnson, possibly either, are 3 pretty good ones...
Seaver is definitely the best starter I have & Cy Young 100 has given me the most trouble in many playoff series now that I've lost. Only 2 possibly because of him.

Yeah, Cy, Walter, Pedro & Maddux are pretty good. Then there's an additional group of like maybe 15+ that are 100+ if there was such a thing. And some 100s (esp. lives) that aren't any better than many diamonds.
