Playing Out Games
I dont know why but I feel like playing out games actually makes my team worse than when I sim games which is bizarre because all i take control of is substitutions so im not sure why my team plays better when I sim games rather than when I play out the games which is what i prefer

I love playing out my games as it seems I do better unless I do something stupid occasionally. Perhaps strategy isn't working too much yet. For me I tend to have a sluggish April but I tell you momentum does do wonders. Like what Sparky once said if you playing good it don't matter who you play and when you playing bad it doesn't matter who you playing. Just keep it up and the law of averages will bring you back and on a roll and who knows you be able to take advantage of a few outcomes and make it turn your way

since my team does not so well during the ends of the season where it gets colder in Michigan so I do my best to take note of players who do well during these times and those who don't. My way of scouting as it were. They don't do career numbers for each month or any other details for each player and team. However you can take as many notes as you can including any players you want to look at for trades. You can still see the numbers for current season. At least you get that much to check out things of behaviors of players. Might help or might not. It took me awhile to find the balance and make it work for you. Just keep searching and you will find it working out

I normally do well playing out games. This year not so much and it makes me happy actually. Computer is being smarter.
My Twins expected to win the division are 41-50 14 games back. I have a couple decisions to be made with trading deadline coming up. If I trade Nelson Cruz or keep him? As an above poster mentioned. Momentum is key. Ive never really had a long stretch of good baseball with this team. Individually I have some players putting up very nice numbers but as a unit something is missing. |

I am having no luck at all playing out games. I am playing as the Braves. On June 10 I am 14 games under .500 and something like 17 games back. Acuna has 9 home runs, 5 others have 4 including Freddie, ALbies, Ozuna and Swanson. I am 7--29 on the road. It is unbelievable. Only 2 teams have fewer home runs in MLB and only 1 has scored fewer runs. I have lost games every possible way including a 7 run 9th where not even Cy Young would have gotten people out. It is not fun at this point but I trudge on. I was supposed to win 89 per the predictions. I can't even win two in a row. Interesting that it's not just me. I have played out every game.
