Wrong team advanced in playoffs

See screenshot attached... Ottawa did not advance to round 3 despite winning; Rangers advanced instead and played Flyers for the second series in a row.

Not sure if it's relevant or not, but this was in historical mode (1947 start) and happened in 1993.

(Not that Ottawa in real life would have made the playoffs in '93 let alone beat both divisional rivals.)

Obvious question: do the scores of the games played actually reflect what's shown on that screen? (In other words, to rule out the possibility that it's just that screen showing the results improperly rather than the games and teams themselves being improper.)

I didn't see the scores specifically, but I checked the player stats and the Ottawa goalies had 8 playoff wins so according to those stats, they would have won two rounds.
