How do you effectively run a team based on speed?
I have been playing since ootp 2, a long time online league player. One thing I have never done is try to win with a team based on speed and defense.
I am just not quite sure how to make it happen successfully. In the online league I am in, my current manager is Barry Larkin and he loves to run the bases. I have players in place in most positions that fit the criteria I am looking for, but unsure of how to set team or individual strategies. So here are some of my questions . -Do I leave team strategy in the middle and just adjust each player individually? -Do I crank up the elite stealers to the max? -Which of the 3 "running ratings" mean the most for success? -Do rookies with exceptional speed ratings less successful rate due to inexperience at the big league level? -What adjustments can I make to each player if their great stealing ratings don't equal success in stealing? Any other ideas and suggestions are welcome. The league is nearing the end of the off season. so opening day is near. Thank you in advance for any advice.
