Hello Guys and Gals
One Question about ballpark creation can you do a 3D Park from 19th century
This Would Be Awesome if we could
Thanks

The first thing I wanted to do with the constructor kit was to edit and modernize Wrigley Field. More bleacher seats and the two video boards built in to bleachers in some way.

Well, I guess modders can do this, but inside the game you can't at the moment.

So reading through this thread now there is a part of me that feels sorry for Markus at the way we are all inundating him with questions/hopes/dreams about this feature that he has gone to great lengths to tell us is only at the beginning.

But then I think- holy crap, how wonderful is it that this one new feature, amid all the great steps forward that OOTP 21 will clearly offer, is creating such excitement. I feel like the concerns that so many have aired in the past few years about the base game stagnating are being fully put to rest by the great strides 21 is taking.

We are like giddy little kids on Christmas eve, wondering just what all is awaiting us in those pretty packages under the tree. As well we should be.

We love all the questions, because it means people are excited by the feature. Of course, it also means we need to keep reminding people that this is a version 1.0 feature and may still have some initial hiccups. But there's still a ton there already, and even more to come later.

Tks, looks very nice.
I'd have to get final confirmation from Markus, but as far as I know, you'd have to handle this manually. If you transfer the files that the construction kit generates to someone and they install them at the same location on their machine, then a league that references those parks should work without much work. This would be essentially the same way that things are handled if you downloaded any of the current park mods.

Thanks Matt - another question, although I think the answer is yes. Leagues we import from 20, we will be able to build stadiums for?

Yeah, the construction kit is essentially separate at the moment from anything else with leagues.

Is it saying anywhere in there that affordability to house creations in Steam Workshop would be possible?

That was one of my favorite features in Earl Weaver Baseball. Being able to design your own stadium.

Is there a way to add logos or match custom team colors inside the ballparks? For example, the dugouts?

Not yet. You can choose the seating color and the fence colors though.

Very cool! Loving the new version Markus. Only got to play for 30 minutes during my lunch break and looking forward to diving into it more tonight.

This looks great. Not sure if this was answered but will the dimensions of the ballpark effect the stats? If I want to create a pitcher's park with huge dimensions will this show in the stats with fewer homers etc?
