Best way to play an easy quick exhibition game between historic teams?

Say I'm watching some highlights or doing my random surfing and I see a random game or team that I'd like to play. Like say I wanted to just load and play the 1958 Yankees vs. Braves. Can I do that quickly? Or even a quick 1975 Reds vs. 1927 Yankees. Do I have to go in and set up a league each time with the teams I want?

Yes, you need to have these teams in a league. However, you can set up a simple 4-team fictional league, with two of the teams being the historical teams you want. It takes just a minute
