Config game screen ?'s

I've spent a good amount of time trying to figure out how to adjust the x-y columns in the Config game screen box.

A fair amount of clear explanations are in the online manual for all the other categories but I can't find any info on x-y.

I was thinking that I could make adjustments in x-y to make some of the stat boxes on the game screen bigger or smaller but when I change the numbers not much happens.

Can someone give me an idea how the x-y categories work? On my two pc's I have a 25" screen and a 32" screen. I can't get the ball park pic to cover either of those screens so the other stat boxes can be on the edges of the stadiums.

Just trying to figure out some stuff as I wait with great anticipation for OOTP17. Thanks for your time.

The x-y coordinates are used to position the widgets on the screen. They do not change the size of the widgets. Some of the widgets can be expanded to display more info, however. But you're trying to make the widgets larger so that it's easier to read the info in them. Apparently, it takes a lot of coding to create the widgets. Markus, despite my attempt to persuade him, has been reluctant to improve them.

A related problem is font size. The stat display in the widgets is awful to read when you increase the font size. Letters and numbers get jammed together. Sure wish this part of the game could get a makeover.

Thanks Paul. Didn't realize that. No biggie because I mainly use the pc with the 32" screen and the size is fine.

I guess the screen is too big to get the ballpark to cover the full screen. : )

Have a great new week...
