How often do owners' moods change

My owner was understandably disappointed in my 94-loss, last-place finish in1969. But in 1970 my Padres are 15 games over .500 in June and in first place, yet my owners mood is still concerned. What gives?

94 losses may take a playoff game or 3 to fix.
How are you with the other owner goals?

It's interesting you would ask. One of his goals was to get a better right fielder, as we were 24th in production at that position in 1969.
Well this season Amos Otis has quickly developed into a star, hitting .290 with a .380 OBP and leading my team in steals. But the goals still says the same thing.
Do they not grade you on your goals until after the season?

What does your attendance look like? Based on my rather limited experience, it seems like low attendance for your home games doesn't help the owner's mood even if you are exceeding expectations on the field.

You are graded on the goal when the time expires. If it is a one year goal, the grade comes after the season (first day of off-season). For a multi-year goal, you will sometimes only receive a progress report and the goal will carry over.

Goals are evaluated at the midpoint (when you get the email) and after the season. The owner mood the rest of the time will vary based on record and finances, however it does always take multiple factors into account (ie. just because you start the season 3-0 the owner doesn't think that you'll end 162-0).

probably due to a limited track record of a young player. the owner knows anyone can have 1 good season. although in the game if the ratings fit, you can expect it to continue barring injury or degredation of ratings over time.

the ratings are probably a bit more mysterious to the owner AI.
