VERSION 1.3 INCLUDES:

32 Home rinks for the 2023-2024 season.
32 Home rinks for the 2022-2023 season.
32 Home rinks for the 2021-2022 season.
Multiple files per team/rink that feature the ice degradation.
Realistic hockey nets
Realistic puck in standard and larger sizes

Historical NHL Ice Rinks 1917 to 2005

Note 1: I will be updating this link after each complete season is done. It is worth mentioning this will only be dating back to the 2005-2006 season. Prior to this the neutral zone and denfensive zone dimensions were different. While the rinks can easily be created this would not line up correctly with FHM's 2D simulation. Once FHM allows for more rink customization on where face-offs are taken, where the blue lines are for off-sides etc rinks prior to the 2005 season can be created and added.

I am going to use this first post to say that all I am working on to start as this is another huge project along with the jersey project is just the 2022-23 rinks.

I have made my own template with a few additional features/changes from the default. I have added the following for added realism:

The rinks from the face-off.net
I have used official NHL sponsors for boards
I have added glass & stanchions
The tops of boards will reflect NHL arenas (Tampa Bay's blue, Vegas's black)

I also highly suggest downloading Flying_Canuck set of player icons to perfect the 2D experience. You can find that here.

All 32 rinks are done without ice degradation; currently working on an ice template that looks good and realistic.

Here are three samples of how these rinks will look (minus ice degradation)

Detroit Red Wings 2022-23:

Here is a sample for the Buffalo Sabres, which includes ice degradation from 0 to 3. This will be used for all teams in this set. I personally have tailored this layer for a realistic approach that mimics real ice and isn't overdone and/or over saturated. (Also apologize for the massive size images; didn't feel like resizing them just to show here.)

Switched from Dropbox to GoogleDrive due to 15GB free storage vs 2GB.

FYI: i just clicked the link to download the rinks and it gives a msg that the file has been deleted.

i notice you mentioned you switched from dropbox for space. The link on the top page for google drive takes you to dropbox with the delete msg.

for FHM9, do I just drop the contents of this file (rink_<team>_#) into the graphics\rink_pics folder for my saved game? the files in that folder are just <team>

They need to be named as I have them in my pack. Drop them in "graphics/rink_pics" folder within your saved game.
