5 pitcher no-hitter

Don't see this often....I thought my first time (I'm the Cubs) would be a little more glamourous.

Didn't Seattle have one with 6 pitchers in real life?

Isn't it a perfect game? I only see 27 batters faced, no walks, HB's

Nice catch. I think you're right.

Also, only 1 K. The Mariners went 0-for-26 on balls in play. The BABIP gods weren't kind to them this day.

Only 1K and 92 pitches. Wow!

Did the SP come out with an injury? If so the bullpen usage looks fine.

Astros pitched a no-hitter against the Yankees in real life in 2003.

Yeah, that was five pitchers. O's had a four pitcher no hitter in 90 or 91 and the Braves a three pitcher no no in 91.

I think there were a few other multi pitcher no hitters that were before my time too.

This is completely off-topic, but if you don't mine me asking, how did SS Ian Desmond end up with the Mariners? I'm managing the Nats in my game and I'm trying to find a trade to move him. If you could post what the trade involved that would be great. Just curious to see what happened! Thanks.

Pirates had a two pitcher 10 inning no-no in 97

Boy, whoever manages the M's sure dumped talent in between years. Is this an online league box score? If not, the CPU sure got rid of some guys.

I never even caught that it was a perfect game until someone else mentioned it. I only manage the offense side of the ball and let the AI handle all substitutions and pitching.

The starter Martin Perez got back stiffness

He was traded for a MR and Julie De La Cruz.

Don't be sad. It turned out to be the best thing that could have happened.
