Thank you to Expos 1969-2004 for the continued fabulous Expos photos. I think the Montreal Expos took more beautiful photos through the years and made them available to fans through magazines, post cards, etc. than any other team of the era. Kudos to their promotional department and fan relations staff for all the excellent work.
Rich Griffin was the King of All Promo Men. When ever the 'Spos came to Big Shea (where they were born and, eventually, died), he always made sure the Mets broadcast booth was supplied with tons of information about the visitors from Le Nord. Not surprised they did a great job with promo pics as well.

I wonder where Griffin is now. (Sure, I could look it up, but I'm lazy.)

Is this the same guy?

Richard Griffin began his career in major-league baseball with the Montreal Expos in 1973, and has been the Toronto Star's baseball columnist since 1995. Richard answers your questions on the Toronto Blue Jays or anything baseball related.

Richard Griffin | Toronto Star

Thanks for the story!

Thanks Braves70

I have been collecting Expos pictures for more than 10 years. I'm trying to find at least one image of every player who dressed 1 game or more for this team. Of the 620 players on the all-time roster, 29 are still on my want list. I'm doing this for historical and personal purposes only.

As I am scanning some pictures for my collection, I'm happy to share them with Gambo and T Wil1 Photopack members.

Hope it's not too much stuff on the site for a "dead" team.

Thanks again

Thank you. The Expos stuff is much appreciated. Give us some names of who you are looking for and we will see if we have any of them. There is one seller on Ebay from Quebec who often has very unique Expos photos, etc.

I got to go to one game in Parc Jarry around 1974. Chuck Taylor was a pitcher for the Expos and the brother of a family friend here in Nashville. I got to go down on the field for a photo. It was very nice. Thank you for your work and for sharing.

Here are a few Expos:

Wayne Granger (1976) / Chuck Taylor (unknown year) / Willie Davis (1974) / Dave Engle (1987) / Will McEnaney (1977)

Going through the pics I took the past couple of weeks. Here are a few of the thousands. If there are any current Royals, Rays, or Rangers you need LMK and I'll see if I took any pics of them.

Price is doing his best Karate Kid impression. Also Mitch Moreland at home and away (with Rusty Kuntz and George Hendrick in the background). Plus Jose Molina in the pic with Pierzynski.

Gerry Janeski

Does anybody have a larger photo of Janeski in his White Sox uniform than the one in the Photopack? I've been having difficulty tracking one down. Thanks!

Beltran Rigo (2004)
Costello John (1990)
