Still very new to the game, joined a league. The draft was simulated after the 13th round of our 10 player league. The issue is that the AI filled in the players designated for assignment, as well as AAA, AA and 40 man. I am having the hardest time moving players from and to the 40 man which is already full. Also, some players are listed as both on the roster and in one of the minor leagues. I'm positively stuck and i need help sorting this out.

A player on the 40-man roster is considered to be on the big league roster. The 25-man roster is the actual active big league roster, with the remaining 15 guys either in the minors or on the disabled list. That's why you may see guys that appear to be on two rosters.

When you move a guy off the 40-man roster, he's required to go through waivers (a 3-day process) and can be claimed by any other team and you would lose him with no compensation. So be careful who you do that with.
