Changing teams PtG

Quick question, I'm tired of my current team in Path to Glory. Any way to change teams other than resigning and waiting to see if I get an offer? Been with the coyotes for five seasons, won the cup three times, but whenever I resign I never get offers from any other teams. Is there a best time of year to resign? Will I have the same issue if I stick out this season and choose not to re-sign?

The best time to get offers is around July 1, since that is when teams will typically fire their GM's if the team is not doing well. Besides that, it's pretty unlikely you will get signed midseason since GM's getting fired during the regular season is pretty rare.

I'm not sure if this is what you want but you could retire then re-join as another GM (or GM/Coach) and you can then pick the team that you want.
