hey all, I am in the process of completing merging ootpmods.com & ootpwiki.info. most of the backend stuff is finally done so recently I have been working on basic functionality with my goal being to make it as self-service as possible.

it's now set up so the file gallery and the pages that lists mods automatically interact with. so if you upload a file to the gallery the list on the corresponding mod page updates. you can also upload a file from the mod page and it dumps it into the proper folder. and if you happen to upload it to the wrong folder/page you can go to the gallery and move the file and everything updates.

also file gallery download links are not file structure dependent so moving files around the galley structure won't change any download links posted elsewhere, so we don't have to worry about evolving file structures

but i don't play FHM so I do need to know what mod categories you guys need

please remember the whole things is a constant work in progress, if you run into a problem, need help with a feature, want a feature turned on, or even better, want to help out more than adding mods and/or editing wiki pages, please let me know.

also, file size upload limits are set large enough to not be a problem but the server may time-out if it takes too long. i can upload a 120mb file with no issues, much bigger than that becomes hit and miss. we can back-door larger files in, but one needs to be given access. so just let me know and we'll deal with it one way or another

adding 'jerseys', 'facegen', 'arena backgrounds', 'fantasy & generic mods' might be cool

the FHM mods page is not very pretty, but it is very functional.

the upload limit seems to be about 120mb. there is a "back-door" for bigger files, just let me know and I can give you access or take care of it for you.

Good work. Is it something (semi)official or pure community based? I suppose the goal is to collect as many mods as possible to a one well organized place.

we are community funded and operated.

the long term goal is not just mods, but information and history as well.
