Requesting multiplayer advice
Hello fellow fanatics. I'm a long time solo historical league player but now have a pretty basic multiplayer question. I probably should know this but am not sure about it.
I want to introduce my son to the game. We would like to each control a different team in the same league and watch it progress over multiple seasons. We would like to work on separate computers, each using our own. My questions are: 1) how many copies of the game do we need? 2) I think the game comes with a license for 2 or 3 pc's. Is this correct? 3) I assume we do this multiple ways. - both work on the same pc, using the same file. - work on separate pc's, transferring the file to each other. - is there a true online mode? 4) would I need to buy an additional copy of the game for him? Thanks in advance for your help.

2) 2 licenses so you only need to make one purchase. Both of you will download the demo and each use a license to activate his own copy of the game. 3) You can upload the league file to a site like Dropbox and share the link between yourselves when one of you uploads an updated version of the league file 4) No, since you get two licenses with one purchase. However, I think you may have a truer online experience if you both play OOTP through Steam. You'll have to buy two licenses that way (I think), but the league file would be saved online and accessible anywhere even if you don't have your own computer handy (as long as you can download the Steam software, that is).
