How do I make the changes I make in the nations editor take effect? I want to modify the baseball quality of some countries and also adjust the language/name origin files in several countries.

I make the changes, but they don't seem to have an impact on my league? Could anyone point me to a place in the manual or a thread on this forum that explains this?

Or could someone provide me with a tip or two? thanks

Did you start a new league after making the changes? Any changes made won't affect an existing league.

Only one sure way to do what you want and it's not in the nations editor..
You need to mod the world_default.xml file in ootp's database folder.
