Go to load game, and dates on right are missing, won't load
Played one season, and I did a number of saves along the way. The last save was NHL7 and when I just went into the game, and hit load game, the dates that normally show on the right are gone. When I click on the game to load, it starts to load, and once it gets to "check players", it stops, and the game closes down completely, gone from my screen? This has now happen twice? So I have to start a new game which is frustrating.

It sounds like something went wrong with the last save and the players.dat file is corrupted. If you go into your saved_games folder (usually \Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 5\saved_games) and then the .lg folder for that specific save, there should be an rs_one and rs_two folder. Those are your rolling backup saves; if you copy the files from one of those folders (try the ones with the most recent date/time first) into the main folder for that save, overwriting the ones that are there, it may fix the problem, although you'll lose whatever happened between the last two saves.
