Tactical settings (can't be changed)

Platform: PC I can't change Offensive Orientation or Physical Orientation, or rather the game automatically changes it to these settings during a match. Offensive Orientation: Offensive Physical Orientation: Physical I have tried setting it to both Balanced and Defensive as well as Balanced or Non-Physical, but no matter what it always defaults to the above mentioned. It doesn't work whether I change settings before a match or during one. I tried starting a new game but the issue remains. I am not using my Assistant to help with anything, except with suggesting lines.

Are you playing as GM/Coach or GM-only? If you're GM/Coach, it shouldn't be switching like that if you have all the assistant options off, we may need to have a look at it.

Sounds like it's taking control like it would if the game was being simmed, shouldn't be doing that. We'll have a look.

I have the same thing. It´s annoying to play without possible to change tactics. I bought my game from Steam and I play as GM / Coach and my assistants don´t have any rights to change tactics. This bug is ruining my game. How soon can you fixed it? Please, without this bug it would be an awesome game. The best hockey manager game in the world

Actually, it looks like it's not changing the tactics themselves, only the offensive and physical orientation, which isn't something that has a direct effect on the way the team plays - the only thing that those are used for are guiding the AI's own tactical choices. If you're coaching, changing them doesn't do anything, and when they revert back to another setting, it won't change anything you've set in the other tactical settings or tendencies.

Ok. Thank you for this answer. This means I need to learn to play this game

and it´s not the games fault I keep losing
