So the Texas Rangers FINALLY pick up a World Series crown after 10 unsuccessful playoff appearances. 12 out of 30 MLB teams have won after 18 seasons.

Rangers fans, I should also mention that Nomar Mazara is still playing and got 3000 hits, all with the Rangers. He usually turns into a beast in my other OOTP saves, so that's not super surprising, but he's definitely a Hall of Famer. Anyhoo...

MVP: AL-Eric Owens (CWS) NL-Jurado
Cy Young: AL-Folkema NL-Jamari Gattison (SF)
ROY: AL-Mike Parnell (MIN) NL-Murdock Pyke (CIN)

I'm going to stop doing FA signings since they're all fictional at this point and have very little meaning.

HOF: Chris Sale (BOS)

Now the regular season standings...

So after decades of frustration and failure, the Miami Marlins beat the odds and win the World Series. Derek Jeter and Bruce Sherman's great plan has finally come to fruition (and yes, Sherman is still listed as the owner). 13 of the 30 MLB teams have now won the World Series. Also, Rafael Devers broke Barry Bonds' HR record this year.

So the Baltimore Orioles overcome the other AL powerhouses and sweep the Phillies in the World Series (who just can't seem to catch a break in October). 14 of the 30 teams have won after 20 years of simulation.

Actually, yes, they kept him until 2021, and then brought him back as a bench coach in 2027, and made him their manager in 2031 (for just one season). He now manages the Marlins. Anyway...

So the Chicago White Sox finally get a World Series title, while the Phillies continue to fail in the playoffs. We are now HALFWAY THERE, as 15 of 30 teams have won the World Series.

BTW, if you're not concerned with keeping tons of data, there are a number of options you could turn off in the settings that would let this simulation go faster... You may already be aware, but let us know if you're not.

BTW, last year I simmed - as I do every year - up to 1969 to take over the Seattle Pilots and eventually the Brewers.

That time the Red Sox didn't win a single pennant ... so it really may take some time untill all teams have won the World Series

So the Chicago Cubs return to the World Series and beat the Twins in seven games. While I am a little frustrated that the Twins once again choked, I guess it makes sense to start out the second half of this campaign the same way the first one started.

Well on the positive side that is the 1st time the White Sox have made the playoffs in back to back seasons in their history.

So the Orioles beat TWO teams that haven't won yet, both in seven games. Needless to say, I am very annoyed. We enter the 2040s with 15 champions. (On the bright side, the Red Sox's postseason streak finally ended!)

I know I posted the last season about 15 minutes ago, but I'm bored. Let's do another one.

MVP: AL-Juan Narvaez (CLE) NL- Juan Gallardo (ATL)
Cy Young: AL-Andy Overby (DET) NL- Mike Busby (ATL)
ROY: AL- Kevin Kelly (TOR) NL- Chris Wilkerson (MIL)

HOF: Vlad Jr, Berrios

Regular season standings...

Batting leaders...

Pitching leaders...

And the playoffs...

So the Cincinnati Reds do what their division rivals could not and win a Game 7 against the Orioles. Cardinals fans, that must hurt. Also, you're now the only team in the NL Central without a championship. Congratulations. 16 of 30 MLB teams have won the World Series.

Don't the Cardinals at worst win one every 27 years an average?

So the Toronto Blue Jays finally bring a title to Canada. They are the 17th MLB team to win. Also, I should probably note that the Yankees are now the only team in the AL East that has yet to win. How unlikely is that?

So much for revenge for 1993. Either way after a few bad seasons. Go Go White Sox!
