Pre-order complete. Hoping the multi core support with faster sim speeds will allow me to build larger and crazier fictional leagues without bogging down.

Ordered! The new player markers for the 3d sim indicate to me that OOTP improved some of the things that are important to me. I like to run the games while working, like a radio broadcast. OOTP16 definitely had some opportunities with the 3d sim. I didn't like how the player pictures and info disappeared from the field during play, so on automatic, I would never see them on the field. I'm optimistic that the new player markers and other improvements we aren't hearing about will make the "live" experience what it should be (or can be!).
I'm hoping this means the play by play announcer was improved. A natural, not robotic voice would be ideal. Regardless, OOTP16 was fun, and I'm looking forward to learning more this season. I haven't become skilled at running a team, but I'm taking my time and enjoying the process. Also, facegen for player improvements sounds nice. I'm not going to import photos this season. Last year, I felt like the photos versus the in game graphics were jarring, and the facegen is quality, so I'm going to stick with that. Last edited by asmodeos; 02-20-2016 at 05:15 PM. |

Just ordered. Never get very involved with season replays as I still find in my old age just far to many details and troubles updating lineups etc. But I've always like
exhibition games and especially replaying World Series games. Special thanks to PStrickert for getting me started on that and supplying so many of them. The new exhibition addition will be just the thing for me. Look forward to this one!

I bought Rocksmith 2014 instead. Damn that Best Buy.
I'll probably order it next friday. The discount does not matter to me but i will probably hate hearing everybody reviewing the game before i can experience it. Kinda like hearing the end a boxing match that you recorded cause you had to work. |

First time since 2002 I have not pre-ordered but it's for a good cause. I'm saving my pennies for my first child due in April. I'll definitely pick it up sometime later this summer though I'm sure!

What did I do today?
The same thing I do every mid-February Pinky, pre-order the greatest baseball simulation in the world. |

I haven't yet, but I will. It's so cliché but this year it really is a 'whole new ballgame.'
