And the P427 champs are...

...the Huntley Red Raiders! Huntley sewed up its second Perfect League title today with a 4-game sweep of the Mesquite Bullriders. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," Huntley manager JasonC23 was quoted as saying. "It's a great feeling."

Shockers already have 6 perfect titles. Not sure anything can stop this massive whale team from number 7?

Well the Doubledays are in the World Series against the 6 perfect titles Shockers. Three of their Starting pitchers cost more than my whole team.

The Miners have won the Diamond 383 Series 4 games to 1. Game 5 saw the School Buses tie it up at 8 in the 8th but Vladimir Jr. and Joe Torre go back to back in the bottom of the 8th to win the series. Joe Torre also had a walk off 2 run HR in the bottom of the 9th in game 4. It's unbelievable that this team came together and found a way to win each series after under-performing all season.

91 John Henry Lloyd
78 Willie McGee
95 Vlad Jr.
85 Joe Torre
89 Pujols
80 Stan Musial
88 Frankie Frisch
88 Ted Simmons
76 Curt Flood

92 Brecheen
91 Tudor
88 Carlton
84 Matt Morris
80 Tex Carleton

Who da thunk it? We'll enjoy this one as we won't have much to celebrate next week!!!!!

...and the Orleans Firebirds were soon 10-0 in the playoffs, as they took the first 3 games of the I260 Series. Suburban battled back to win 2 in a row, but Orleans finished the Sox off in game 6 to take the series. Congrats to the Orleans Firebirds! And it's on to Bronze for the Suburban Sox!

Two top teams in the World Series, my 105 win team vs his 106 win team. So he gets home field advantage. He wins the first two, I win the next three at home. The last two games at his park... you guessed it. Lost by 1 run in the 7th game.

I guess I should have won 107 games in the season!

My PT20 pack only team outperformed every other teams I had in 19 and 20. In 9 seasons, it had been promoted to Diamond, a level I had never been before - meanwhile, my PTG19 teams of mine struggled to stabilize in either Gold or Silver even after almost 20 seasons - and they won playoff in every level just how I like it. LIVE Mike Trout and Legend Willie Keeler(no wonder he's 120K) anchored the team ever since they joined it 3 seasons ago. Trout won 2 MVPs and this year it was Keeler's turn. Keeler hit .508/.565/.672 throughout the playoff and has a slash line of .352/.412/.544 for the regular season.

Not much success for me this season, as it was mostly Division Series or Wildcard exits. But the Unicorns made it to the Sub-League series, and thus will be in Silver next season.

That's two promotions in three years for the boy. He took over a team that had always made the playoffs but never got promoted, and promoted them twice in three seasons. Good job, son.

Who cursed me?

Another year in the silver playoffs, another early exit. Lost my wildcard game and I think my record in wildcard games is 1-7. My luck has to turn around eventually, right?

At least I earned a good amount of PP this season, close to 13k which is a personal record.

Some quality teams you guys took down. I've seen both of those teams win Perfect leagues that I've been in before. The Battling Bonsai incident was especially poignant because I took a 3-0 series lead on them before they won it in 7 games.

Big time congrats!! That was a helluva run and you beat a great team! Enjoy! I usually do not go back and check leagues after I have been eliminated but I kept checking back last night on your series to see if you could pull it off.

Nooooo Islanders lost the WS 4-1

Oh well, heh It was the 2nd Wildcard with 87 wins from the other conference that won, fair play to them. We had 88 wins with a Division title

Perfect. Wow. And Kris Bryant went 100, there's a decision to be made there

Hard to say without knowing what versions of Hank Aaron, Johnny Bench, Greg Maddux, Lee Smith, etc you have.

At a glance the starting pitching looks a little thin (assuming that's not 100 Maddux). Bullpen is hard to predict. Lineup could probably use another lefty bat or two, but has some good pieces.

Wild guess? I'd say 73 wins.
