Exclamation cannot open template file boxscores_page.tpl

Hi guys. Win 7 64-bit version. Newly installed o/s, newly installed OOTP, and the game refused to start or load any game. Gives me the following error:

TEMPLATES_ENGINE::load_template_file - cannot open template file boxscores_page.tpl.

Clicking 'OK' crashes the game 'Fatal Application Exit
load_database - Error, could not load default text file.

Based on web searches, it appears this used to come about when folders were moved around, but this is a brand new install. I've un-installed and re-installed 3 times, no change.

Any help?

It sounds as you don't have permissions to access certain folders. I remember when I first installed win 7 64...even though I set everything up to be administrator, I still did not have full permissions. Until I figured out to get around this, I had to install ootp and all my other programs by right clicking the .exe file and selecting Run as Administrator. That solved the problem. Try that and see if it helps. Rather than uninstalling again, you can also just click the ootp Icon and select run as admin. it may work.
Also turn off UAC.

Don't know what it was - I definitely had access to all the folders.

I uninstalled & reinstalled, didn't work. Uninstalled, then went through and deleted any and all related folders, then reinstalled...success. Not sure what went wrong, but up and running now. Txs for the reply.
