Activation error...
I have entered the serial # as per instruction several times and get the error message "Could not activate...please try again." Can anyone else tell me how to get past this?

Try this...
Go to your e-mail and literally copy the serial number from the e-mail. Don't try to type it in. It worked for me, and heck it's worth a try. Hope it works! (Also keep the OOTP11 part) |

Try copy & paste (Ctrl-V to paste it into the dialog) the license number.
Also, please make sure that any firewall is disabled temporarily (windows firewall or the one in your router). |

This is possibly the result of a firewall blocking the activation. Either your security software or possibly even your router will need its firewall disabled just for the short moment while you're trying to activate. You can reenable it immediately afterward and all should be well.
